About

Dr. Nuwayhid holds both a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Missouri, and a PhD degree in Mechanical-Nuclear Engineering from the Imperial College, London. He has numerous publications in energy conversion, solid waste, as well as in radiation monitoring. His University teaching includes Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Solar Engineering courses. His research interests include Thermoelectric power generation, solar energy application and radiation measurement and sensing. He is a member of the Lebanese Solar Energy Society (LSES) and an environmental enthusiast and is also internationally published in chestnut tree horticulture.
